That’s the long and short of it. One penny may not seem like a lot, nor two, nor ten, but ask yourself this, would the person next to you just hand you a quarter? How many times have we seen people at the grocery store say, “You shorted me a nickle,”.
Listen, just because you pick up a penny doesn’t mean you are being silly. Just because you use a coupon doesn’t make you stingy. Just because you curb shop to get items to upcycle and resell doesn’t make you a cheapskate. It makes you smart – it makes you a survivor. You are slaying the problem of finding extra money.
